Call of Duty Mobile Gets New SP-R 208 Sniper Rifle in Season 2 update

The Elite Marksman Seasonal Challenge has arrived in Call of Duty Mobile and it allows players to unlock the SP-R 208 rifle in Multiplayer mode

The new SP-R 208 marksman rifle has finally arrived in Call of Duty Mobile in Season 2 update. It was christened as ‘Day of Reckoning’ and Activision launched the latest season in early March. On offer are multiple new weapons, the Tank Battle mode and fan-favourite Shipment map with revisions.

SP-R 208 rifle in Call of Duty Mobile

Call of duty fans will remember the SP-R 208 bolt-action marksman rifle from Modern Warfare, where it was already available. The SP-R 208 is a powerful sniper rifle that is capable of eliminating the enemy with a single shot on the upper body.

This incredibly powerful weapon comes with five rounds in a single magazine that can be extended to 10 rounds with attachments. It has a damage rate of 72 and a fire rate of 43.

Call of Duty Mobile: Seasonal Challenge

To provide additional excitement to gamers, the developers have released the Elite Marksman Seasonal Challenge in Call of Duty: Mobile. This seasonal event hit the floors on March 24th and will continue for the next 22 days.

This event gives players the opportunity to unlock the SP-R 208 after successfully completing challenges. Players must undertake and successfully finish six challenges in order to unlock the SP-R 208.

Breakdown of challenges

The first challenge requires Call of Duty players to use their Sniper Rifles to eliminate five enemies. The next task is to earn a long shot medal five times followed by eliminating 10 enemies with an equipped Agile Perk task.

Once a player overcomes all these challenges, he needs to destroy 10 enemies with his NA-45 weapon. Next task is to eliminate 20 more enemies with the NA-45 loaded with any optic.

In the final challenge, players need to eliminate the remaining 10 enemy players with headshots using the NA-45. Once a gamer emerges triumphant from all these challenges, he can unlock the SP-R 208 rifle in multiplayer mode.
