CoD Cold War Patch Update brings in Bug Fixes, improves Gameplay

The recent patch update to Black Ops Cold war announces the upcoming Gunfight Tournament, along with multiple bug fixes and stability aids

Treyarch has rolled out the latest patch update for CoD Black Ops Cold War. It delivers various bug fixes and gameplay improvements across Multiplayer and Zombies.

Black Ops Cold War patch update

The CoD developers have carried out updates to Sticks and Stones and have removed the Ballistic Knife from Snipers Only Moshpit loadouts. There is a fix on offer for Beck’s latest Operator Mission in Multi-Team modes.

Treyarch has corrected a rare issue in Zombies where some players saw their round bonus incorrectly display as a negative value. They have carried out bug fixes for the scoreboard in Zombies as well.

Diesel 24/7 + Gunfight Tournament in Cold War

This week’s upcoming update will introduce the 6v6-only Diesel 24/7 playlist. An added attraction is the addition of the game’s next Gunfight Tournament to Black Ops Cold War, which starts today.

The fan-favourite Sticks and Stones is set to continue. Face Off will return to Featured Playlists for more 3v3 action on Diesel, Mansion and the rest of the Gunfight maps.

I. Sticks and Stones

• Addressed an issue where Tomahawk kills awarded 100 points instead of the 50 points shown on screen.
• Addressed an issue where Finishing Moves weren’t being counted as a melee kill.

II.  Snipers Only Moshpit

• Restricted Ballistic Knife from use in Snipers Only Moshpit.

Operator Missions

• Addressed an issue with Beck’s Season Three Battle Pass Operator Mission (“Block 1000 incoming damage with player-inserted Armor Plates”) not progressing correctly in Multi-Team modes.

Zombies in Cold War

Scoreboard

• Addressed an issue where the scoreboard could lose functionality.
• Fixed an issue where players were unable to inspect other players in the scoreboard.
• Addressed an issue where the column that would display the number of “Downs” for players was not shown.
