Fortnite has launched its Hearts Wild Cup yesterday with Valentine’s Day-themed skins, items and other new features available in the Item Shop
Epic Games has ushered the valentine’s week with an exciting announcement for Fortnite players. The game now gets Valentine themed skins and items. Fortnite Season 5 Chapter 2 in its 11th Week will feature a challenge in which players can choose a character to be Lovely’s Valentine.
Complementing the new skins and goodies on offer, Fortnite also commenced the Hearts Wild Cup yesterday. The game can be played by couples or by ‘dynamic duos’, as Fortnite calls it.
Players (or Duos) will have three hours to complete up to 10 matches to earn points. The top-performing Duos in each server region will earn the Lovely Outfit and Heartblast Back Bling.
In order to participate, players must have their account level at 30 or above and have 2FA enabled. To enable 2FA, players are required to visit Epic Games’ 2FA page, log into their Epic account and follow the onscreen instructions.
Fortnite’s current season will see the return of Papercraft cosplay and figures, which will make their return in the Hearts Wild event. These figures are based on Valentine-themed Fortnite characters this time.
To get the most of this feature, players will have to visit the Fortnite Cosplay page to download and print your paper materials. Once done, they can build masks to cosplay as Wild Card, Lovethorn and Heartbreaker.
Along with this, they can make mini-models of Cuddle Team Leader, Cuddle King and Love Ranger. These characters will be available till 15th of this month.
Hearts Wild will also see the introduction of new colourful outfits, on the theme of Valentine’s Day. These will be available in the Item Shop and will include the Lovely and Cuddle Team Leader’s favourite fan Cuddle King.
Outfits from years past, like the tough-loving Lovethorn, will be making their way to the Item shop as well. Players can choose their favourite skins and items through in-game purchases.
