Fortnite v15.21 update patch notes include Predator skin, Jungle Hunter Quests and a new Mythic item
The Fortnite v15.21 update patch has arrived and it will introduce the game’s next quests. Also in store would bea Predator skin, a Cloaking Device item, and more. If leaks are to be believed, players have got a clear indication of the new and exciting skin hitting the battle royale game.
Meanwhile, Epic Games is ushering some additional content for players to examine in detail, via an updated questline called the Jungler Hunter Quests. This is expected to keep players occupied until the v15.30 update.
The new update brings Predator to The Island. The iconic villain from Hollywood will be a Boss character at Stealthy Stronghold for players to take on. Eliminating him will bring with it a handsome reward.
Defeating the new boss will earn players an exclusive Predator skin and a new Mythic item. Predator’s Cloaking Device allows players to become almost invisible for a short period of 30 seconds. This effect can be removed by swapping weapons or during swimming. The item will give players the chance to sneak up on their enemies and wreak havoc, akin to a Predator.
A few more Jungle Hunter Quests have been added to the Battle Pass. Completing these will unlock the long-awaited Predator skin as well as a number of cosmetics to match. There’s a Yautja Wristblades pickaxe, a Hunter’s Trophy back bling, a The Hunt loading screen, a Bio-Helmet Online emote and a Hunter’s Arsenal weapon wrap to unlock.
The IO Guards will be removed from Arena gameplay following the new v15.21 update, as they constantly target players upon sight. However, they will remain in Battle Royale mode.
One of the biggest issues that Epic is going to try to sort out will be the glitch that makes some players receive mid-air damages when falling inside a car. As per leaks, there are a couple of fixes going to be introduced in the game to fix this.
The changes revolve around its vehicles including the inconsistent camera behavior or stuttering after being near a player who recently drove then exited.
In competitive playlists, players do not have access to their persistent stash of Bars. Instead, they are granted a set amount at the beginning of each match. This is done intentionally.
However, the end total of Bars in competitive playlists may appear in the Lobby in place of a player’s determined attempt at stashing. This is a visual issue only and the new patch should address it promptly.
