Nintendo updates company policy to increasing diversity at workplace

The leading consumer electronics and video game company Nintendo has recently updated its corporate governance report. The document covers the company’s new stance on practices and performance and detailed insights into how the company will work to improve internal diversity.

Nintendo further stated that they haven’t set immediate goals to achieve yet the policy has been created to build a space where the workforce can maximize their potential.

The privacy policy documents noted that the company is intensifying its efforts to employ more women and encourage equality to help them build successful careers. To materialize this vision, Nintendo is all set to increase the proportion of women holding managerial positions within the company across all branches.

The document further marked that being a company involved in the video gaming business, Nintendo understands the diversifying customer needs and preferences.

This is why the company is working to leverage the talents of a diverse workforce. This is why they are building an environment where employees of diverse backgrounds can maximize their potential.

The company further endorsed that its board of directors has individuals who have rich industry experience in relevant fields.

The corporate governance report throws a comprehensive light on how the company is committed to respecting the personality and strengths of every employee of diverse backgrounds.

The report has much significance as an internal notice surfaced from Nintendo noted the raising concern about harassment, and other issues in the workplace by Activision Blizzard employees.
