Chess.com’s PogChamps 3, a chess event presented by GRIP6, commences on February 14. The chess event will be ending its run on February 28. Presented by Grip6, PogChamps 3 has a prize amount of $100,000 and Chess.com has declared an additional $100,000 for community donations.
The event is expected to have maximum viewership in the history of chess tournaments. PogChamps and PogChamps 2 were massive hit-shattering viewership records in the past, with live views reaching 16 million viewers.
The group-stage matches are scheduled in the first week of the event. Players will later move into a championship and consolation brackets, the top two players from each group will move to the championship bracket, playing once again a double-round robin in the group stages. The final is set to take place on February 28.
The PogChamps 3 is poised to become the biggest hit with increased prize amount and noted celebrities being the participants. This historic chess event features some world-renowned and noted celebrities along with previous participants.

The landmark event is being presented by GRIP6, which is an American manufacturing company involved in the manufacturing of belts, wallets, and wool socks. Besides GRIP6 Guayaki is also the official sustainability partner of Pogchamps 3, who will be providing Yerba Mate drops throughout the event. CyberpowerPC, a custom computer hardware manufacturer, has become the first hardware partner of Chess.com. The association of all these partners is making this event possible.
