Activision all set to announce Season 13 update for COD: Mobile

Buoyed by the success of its recently launched Season 1 for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone, Activision is all set to introduce Season 13 update for Call Of Duty: Mobile on 22nd of December. Gamers will be treated to new maps, modes, weapons, and other enhancements, along with a new battle royale pass with brand new rewards will also be on the offers list.

The new season S8 of Multiplayer Ranked Matches will be available from December 2020 to January 2021. Along with this, a new weapon, christened QXR will be available, which allows players to change the rate of fire at will to suit different combat styles. It has been touted as a reliable and stable personal combat weapon.

The new Grind multiplayers mode will ensure that kills are confirmed by picking up dog tags from fallen players. Players will need to collect and take dog tags to an objective location and score points for the entire team. Here, the challenge to hold points is crucial, as the objective location rotates around the map.

The Nuketown map has been a gamer’s favourite and this time as well, it finds its way to the new season, albeit being set in Russia, which will add a picturesque attraction for players. Front line, team deathmatch, occupation war, main base, confirmation kill and grind are the various modes available with this map.

The new season will come with Blitz Battle Royale Mode, which is a fast-paced survival competition and lasts for only 10 minutes, thereby testing the speed of players, who can dive to a random location on the map and can win this lightning fast Battle Royale in the stipulated time period.

There are multiple improvements carried out in the maps, with the most exciting one being Ski Town, that has been transformed into a true ski resort with 4 lifts, and four slopes have been added. The town can be reached using lifts located at outposts, nuclear power plants, dormitories, and heat. Ski slopes lead to cold wetlands, nursing homes, nuclear power plants, pastures, dorms, and hits.
