Battlegrounds Mobile India officially launched by Krafton today

Battlegrounds Mobile India has been launched in India by developer Krafton and the official version is available for download on Google Play Store

Krafton has finally launched Battlegrounds Mobile India. The developer has stated the official version of Battlegrounds Mobile India is available for download on the Google Play Store.

Battlegrounds Mobile India launched

At present, only Android users will be able to download and enjoy the game. iPhone users will have to wait until Krafton announces the Battlegrounds Mobile India iOS app.

The game’s beta version was available for download in May for pre-registered players. Users who have already downloaded the early access version can update the app to get the official version.

Gamers will not need to download the Battlegrounds Mobile India APK from third-party stores. Krafton might soon issue an official announcement on the same.

Android users with the early access version can visit the app’s Play Store listing and update it. Once downloaded, they can collect the Constable Set. This is a reward for 10 million downloads from the in-game events section.

Extended time to grab rewards

Going by the massive response at the time of the game’s launch announcement, Krafton is going generous with its rewards as well. The developer has extended the duration to collect the ‘India ka Battlegrounds’ gift reward, 1 million and 5 million downloads reward till August 19.

A re-badged PUBG arrives

Going by initial intuitions, the game retains most of the shenanigans of PUBG. The developers have carried out minimal cosmetic alterations to align with Indian sensibilities (green blood, fully-clad characters et all).

A notable addition in the game is the new “Gameplay Management System” that will keep reminding players to maintain their health. It will also give them tips on staying hydrated and similar requisites. A player can turn off these recurring notifications, if he is 18 years or above.
