Call of Duty: Mobile’s latest seasonal update brings in new seasonal challenges, few bug fixes and the New Year of the Ox event
Activision has published Call of Duty Mobile’s latest Community Update. Gamers can expect a host of new content, additional game modes and enhancements coming up in their favourite multiplayer-battle royale game. Addressing requests from players, the developer has also carried out a few bug fixes.
For battle royale fans, Call of Duty Mobile now gets a new ‘Battle Royale Warfare’. The fan-favourite BR Blitz will also be making a return to the game next week.
Along with several other updates, the new Warfare will be one of the new modes to be launched throughout this season.
The highlight of the season update though, is the introduction of two new seasonal challenges. This time around, CoD Mobile will have one challenge for MP and another for BP.
Players will gain access to the epic blueprint of the GKS – Kitsune, as the seasonal challenges unfold. The much-anticipated SKS will also be available next week during the BR Buff event.
The first tryst for players would be the Run & Gun challenge. The challenge involves using different SMGs in BR and multiplayer modes. It is designed to test a player’s agility and reaction time.
Users will stand a chance to win rewards such as Medic- Warp, .50 GS – Warp, KN-44 Warp, Cosmic Wave backpack, and GKS-Kitsune.
The second and final challenge for players is the Master Operator. Developers of CoD Mobile want players to believe that this challenge is relatively easy and can be overcome using effective operator skills.
Gamers, who complete this challenge successfully, stand to win rewards such as Spray-Ouroborous, Avatar- Robot Buddy and M16 – Trance.
There is also the New Year of the Ox event on Call of Duty Mobile. “This event tasks you with getting kills through MP matches and in particular by playing Hardpoint, TDM, Frontline, Domination and S&D,” mentioned a CoD Mobile spokesperson.
Apparently the latest update has plenty of diversified tasks on offer. Players can earn Lunar New Year Crates as rewards. This event is only available for six more days, so fans might want to hurry it up and grab those crates.
