The Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) is slated to go live soon, with a $3,000,000 prize pool for the lucky winners of this year’s series
Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6’s competitive offerings are all complete now. Thus, Epic Games is looking ahead to what’s coming next season.
Knocking on our doors is the Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS), which is slated to go live soon. A $3,000,000 prize pool awaits the lucky winners of this year’s series.
Fortnite fans are aware that the All-Star Showdown is coming later this month. Starting on June 23 and going up to June 26, it comes with skills challenges, a non-BR team competition, and a Solo BR tournament to cap the event. Not every spot in the All-Star Showdown has been filled, according to Epic Games.
After the FNCS All-Star Showdown, there will be a two-week break from June 28 – July 11 on all competitions. Fortnite will hold the first Season 7 FNCS Qualifier on July 29 in the Middle East, and July 30 across all other regions. The Season 7 FNCS Finals will conclude on September 5. Below is the full breakdown:
Participants get to play Season 7 FNCS in Trios. Last season fans gave a lot of positive feedback on the changes made, including the point format. Going in the same vein, Season 7 will have a familiar format with minor adjustments.
Each new season of FNCS has brought with it adjustments to the point or qualification format. However, Fortnite prefers to stick to its current position and is eager to see the long-term effects of a more standardized FNCS across multiple seasons.
Similar to the previous season, anyone in the Champion League can still form a trio with other Champion League players and openly compete in FNCS. Oceania will have slightly fewer teams advancing from Round 1 to Round 2.
