League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics now have updated minimum system requirements, as part of the patch 11.17 update for all PC gamers
Riot Games has updated the new minimum and recommended system requirements for League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics for PC. We bring you all the details.
The League of Legends developer said that it was a tough decision to undertake. However, continuing to release new content while maintaining older hardware requires significant investment both from a development and a testing standpoint. This is the reason the updates were carried out.
Gamers using Macs will now require the macOSX 10.12 or later, to run the game. League of Legends needs to update these requirements to focus more new feature developments, rather than maintaining older hardware.
If a system meets or exceeds these specs, a player is good to go. If it doesn’t, a player will still be able to play League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics, but at his/her own risk.
Riot hopes that these updates will surely speed up the process of generating fresh content in the days to come.
