Valorant to collaborate with DJ Zedd for in-game Item, Event

Valorant and Zedd have teamed up for an in-game item that will be revealed in a special unveiling event today (Sept 7).

Renowned DJ, record producer and songwriter Anton Zaslavski is better known as Zedd in the world of music. Zedd is known for his love of video games and obsession with tactical shooters like Valorant.

Zedd set to arrive in Valorant

DJ Zedd has pulled off his fair share of impressive plays. Fans had noticed a Zedd-themed melee weapon in the Year One Anthem video.

The 32-year-old Zedd is an avid Valorant enthusiast. He has previously had his moment of achievement, on reaching Immortal rank in the competitive shooter.

The Immortal rank in Valorant lies just under the rank of Radiant, which is the highest rank achievable in the tactical shooter.

A Zedd reveal coming up today

Riot Games hasn’t revealed any further details about the nature of Zedd’s collaboration with Valorant. However, fans can expect a new skin line and a dedicated event to showcase Zedd’s musical prowess, in his honour.

A teaser from the Valorant devs does mention a special unveiling event. This might hint that an in-game event is on the way for gamers to lap up.
