Activision launches 3-vs-3 Gunfight Mode on CoD Mobile today

CoD Mobile gets the 3-vs-3 Gunfight Mode today as a part of the Season 1 update and will be up for grabs until February 10

Activision has announced that it will be introducing a three-vs-three gunfight mode in Call of Duty  (CoD) Mobile. The launch is stipulated for today and is expected to usher new features to the game. The mode will be available until February 10th.

CODM fans would recall that the three-vs-three gunfight mode was part of the season one patch notes last month. The mode is similar to the two-vs-two mode albeit with three players in each team.

Features of CoD Mobile Gunfight Mode

Part of the Multiplayer section of CoD: Mobile, gamers get to play this mode on maps including Reclaim, Cage, Gulag, Shipment, Pine and King.

Players will have to battle it out across six rounds in this mode. In each round, players need to kill team members of the enemy and the first team to win six rounds emerges as the winner.

If a team is unable to take down all three enemy players in a time span of 40 seconds, a zone will be activated in the center of the map which can be captured by any player. The team that captures the zone will be the winners of that round.

How to play 3-vs-3 Gunfight Mode:

  • Click on the ‘Multiplayer’ option on the Main Menu screen.
  • Go to the ‘Featured’ section under Multiplayer options.
  • Select the 3v3 Gunfight game mode which is the second option.
  • Click on the ‘Match’ button
  • Gunfight Mode adds spice to CODM

Going by initial impressions and leaks, the mode and its concept appear quite exciting as it’s a step up from the two-vs-two mode in place earlier.

The 3-vs-3 Gunfight mode is part of a large spectrum of introductions to be carried out by Activision in due course, but the new mode is sure to spice things up for gamers while upping the ante in terms of challenges.
