The frenzy among gaming freaks for ‘Call of Duty’ has turned it into a global eSports phenomenon. It happened in quick succession of just last four years. Various events around the globe helped in instigating the craze and made the game a huge hit among the gamers.
Now, the makers of the game is all set to announce the formation of the Call of Duty World League. The event is going to be launched in addition to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Call of Duty eSports.
The Call of Duty World League will bring several new features and additions to the game format. The league is to introduce competitive Call of Duty to new audiences and long-time fans alike with region wise competitions and providing live streaming for the competitive ongoing matches. Alongside, the tournament introduces more critical rounds and gaming opportunities for the amateur players and fans irrespective of their gaming skills. They can now compete to the various levels and earn a spot at the Call of Duty Championship.
The company has also announced tripling the prize pool to $3 million in the potential year-long run for various major and minor events.
