Fortnite Short Nite 2 Party Royale coming soon: Epic Games

The Fortnite Short Nite 2 Party Royale is scheduled to go live soon and fans will also get to witness the global premiere of Gildedguy Gets Up!

Fortnite is bringing back its Short Nite 2 Party Royale. Gamers get to join their friends in this Party Royale for a series of animated, online shorts by up-and-coming-creators. Accompanying this BR is the world premiere of the next entry of the iconic Gildedguy series.

The event kicks off on Friday, July 23, 2021, at 2 pm. If players can’t make the debut, the short films will continue to play non-stop until 2 pm on July 25.

Short Nite BR arrives in Fortnite: Details

This latest Short Nite includes a variety of shorts that are comedic, rhythmic, and action-packed. Included in the schedule are two shorts from the full-of-action Gildedguy saga. This also showcases the world premiere of the next entry Gildedguy Gets Up!

The total runtime of the shorts is about 40 minutes, and the show will run non-stop for 48 hours. If a player is new to Party Royale, they can check out our guide for getting to the Big Screen.

Players will also have the option to watch Short Nite 2 in standard Battle Royale via Picture-in-Picture. This is available during certain times of the event and accessible through the settings.

Subtitles & content details in Short Nite 2

For the shorts that contain dialogue, participants will be able to watch them with subtitles in their language of choice. To watch with subtitles, they must enable subtitles in the Audio Settings.

Content Creators must remember that there’s no recording of these shorts during the event. Instead, they can invite fans to watch in-game live. Any streams or VODs of these films will be removed per content protection rules.

Gildedguy joins The Fortnite Item Shop

• In celebration of the Gildedguy Gets Up! premiere in Short Nite 2, Gildedguy is joining the fight on Fortnite Island.
• A known battling figure, Gildedguy will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop starting July 22 at 8 pm.
• Accompanying him would be his new Slush Fighter Cape Back Bling and Stellapen Smashpack Pickaxe.
