How to unlock the OTs 9 SMG in CoD Black Ops Cold War

We bring you a few tips to unlock the latest OTs 9 SMG, which arrived in CoD Black Ops Cold War Season 4 Reloaded

The recent Season 4 Reloaded in CoD Warzone and Black Ops Cold War has introduced the superfast OTs 9 SMG. Players can unlock this weapon by completing its in-game challenge or by purchasing the Inside Job Store Bundle.

The OTs 9: What’s special

A highly effective SMG, the OTs 9 boasts impressive stopping power with a phenomenal rate of fire. It is hindered only by its low-capacity magazine. Gamers can unlock the base version of the OTs 9 by completing the unlock challenge in either Multiplayer or Zombies.

In the Multiplayer challenge, players can use SMGs to kill 3 enemies affected by their Tactical Equipment in 15 different completed matches.

In Zombies, gamers will face the Tempest. The use of SMGs will kill 100 Tempests within 2 seconds of them reappearing after teleporting.

How to go about the OTs 9 in CoD?

In the Multiplayer unlock challenge, players must first deploy their Tactical Equipment and then eliminate the target. The objective is to blind and eliminate. Using this loadout, it shouldn’t take players long to get the job done.

For this SMG, Treyarch recommends the “Last Words” SMG Weapon Blueprint. It features Fast Mag for quick reloads and the 14.9” Ranger for a major boost to bullet velocity. With the addition of the Steady Aim Laser gamers are all set to go.

With the Danger Close Wildcard, players can start each life with maximum ammo and double the Equipment. For the challenge, the Flashbang Tactical Grenade would be an ideal option. It is a great lead-in when breaching enemy objectives.

Additional details to master the OTs 9 in CoD

The Tactical Mask is for those inevitable times when the Flashbang detonates too close by. It also reduces the harmful effects of enemy-thrown Tactical Equipment.

Quartermaster restocks grenades over time, so the Flashbangs can keep flying. Using Gung-Ho, players can toss them mid-sprint while rushing the objective.

To maintain maximum mobility, players can use hip-fire to take down blinded targets. And when the skies get crowded with aerial threats, they can clear them with the SAM Turret. This helps them stay focused on the objective at hand.
