IEM Katowice 2021 CSGO event starts on February 16 and ends on February 28. With the biggest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) Esports event just around the corner, fans are excited to toe-to-toe for a grand prize pool of $1 million.

The online era of CS: GO has given people a wonderful idea of how different groups stack up against each other where they are eligible for the title, ‘The Intel Grand Slam”. IEM Katowice 2021 CSGO Event Stages and Schedule

There are three stages for IEM Katowice 2021 event:

1. Play-Ins: Feb 16-Feb 17
2. Main Stage: Feb 18- Feb 22
3. Playoffs: Feb 26- Feb 28

Play-Ins Stage

This stage includes a double-elimination bracket where the best-of-one will be taken as opening brackets. Also, the consecutive match will be best on best-of-three in series. Joining CS: GO teams play games to decide placements in the next stage. Following are a list of teams for the Play-Ins stage:

Main Stage

In this stage, eight teams from the Play-Ins will be promoted here. (16 teams will get split into two equal groups and they will have different double elimination formats to proceed further). This will decide teams for Playoffs.

Playoffs Stage

It’s time for a single-elimination round. For this, the top performers of three teams from each group will move to this stage. This starts on 26th February.

For quarterfinals and semifinals, the best-of-three will be considered while the Grand Finals will take place for the best of five. Finally, the IEM World Champion crown ceremony will take place on February 28, at the Grand Finals.
