Fornite’s v17.10 update is here and new Invasion weaponry is coming to Fortnite Creative, including the Kymera Ray Gun, Rail Gun, and Pulse Rifle

Fornite’s v17.10 update is here and new Invasion weaponry is coming to Fortnite Creative. These include the Kymera Ray Gun, Rail Gun, and Pulse Rifle. Epic Games has also added a few community requested weapons.

Invasion weapons in Fortnite Creative v17.10

• Kymera Ray Gun (Rare, Epic, & Legendary)
• Pulse Rifle (Rare, Epic, & Legendary)
• Rail Gun (Rare, Epic, & Legendary)

Added some older missing weapons

• Rapid Fire SMG (Common, Epic, & Legendary)
• Hunting Rifle (Epic & Legendary)
• Scoped Assault Rifle (Epic & Legendary)

Along with the above, Fortnite gets new rarity search tags to the Weapons Gallery.

Updated Fishing Device in Fortnite v17.10

The Fishing Zone gets a major update with three different loot modes. This includes a custom device inventory and the ability to fish almost anywhere.

Creators can add various fishing elements to their games, such as:

• Fishing competitions between players
• Collecting fish as a resource
• A fun mini game with its own rewards

Players can place a fishing pool in water. Alternatively, they can place it in more unusual places like an artificial container or in lava. They can drop onto the device, similar to an Item Spawner or Item Granter. They can catch things besides fish.

Gameplay updates in new patch

• Fortnite has increased the cap for all resources, including Gold, to 999,999.
• The number of available Channels has been increased from 200 to 250.
• The new channels (201-250) are not currently displaying correctly in the Channel Browser screen. Fortnite will correct this in an upcoming release.
