Call of Duty: Warzone’s latest playlist update gets Warzone Rumble, Plunder Trios & Rebirth Island back, while the Plunder Quads get removed
Raven Software has introduced a playlist update for Call of Duty: Warzone. The developer also plans to update its playlist names starting today to celebrate Valentine’s weekend.
The new update gets ‘Warzone Rumble in the Sheets’ along with ‘Love and Plunder Trios’. This is great news for gamers, who had enjoyed the Warzone Ruble launched mid-2020.
However, this 50-vs-50 team Deathmatch mode was removed from Warzone, as the developer mentioned that it was a temporary addition.
The game offers timely playlist updates for the game which enables players to check out various game modes at regular intervals. Whether this time around the mode becomes permanent or not, remains to be seen.
With the new update comes another good news for players as the Plunder Trios playlist has been added to COD: Warzone. Infinity Ward was heavily trolled for the abrupt removal of the Plunder Trios last year. The current developer seems to have given in to gamers’ demands this time.
The Rebirth Island was a new map introduced in Warzone along with Black Ops Cold War late last year. After a brief disappearance of a few months, this map has resurged in Warzone.
This map is best suited for a small number of players and offers a fast-paced experience during a war. Rebirth Island will not be replacing the existing map of Verdansk. It will be additionally available in select modes as an alternative option.
COD: Warzone added Plunder Quads in October last year but it seems the developers aren’t keen to keep this mode functional for players.
This mode has been on and off the playlist for a while now and players often remain in dilemma whether they will get to see this mode in an upcoming update.
The reason COD: Warzone keeps doing this may be because they have been trying to promote other modes and options. Gamers would not normally give the new ones a try if the existing popular ones were always available.
