Total Gaming, 4 Unknown emerge winners at Free Fire Titan Invitational

Team Total Gaming won the Clash Squad Mode beating Team Chaos, while team 4 Unknown grabbed top slots in the battle royale segment

The first phase of the ‘Free Fire Titan Invitational’ tournament referred to as the Clash Squad mode, ended on a grand note for Total Gaming Esports, as the team emerged victorious in Clash Squad. Team 4 Unknown also returned home jubilant as they were declared winners in the Battle Royale mode.

Vital statistics

Team Total Gaming defeated Team Chaos in the finals with a score tally of 3-1. The winning team’s Prince took 22 kills while its star performer MafiaBala eliminated 13 enemies to the lobby. Total Gaming Esports won Rs 3,00,000 in prize money.

In the first phase on January 16th, 12 invited teams clashed with each other in Clash Squad mode, while on January 17th, the invited teams will take part in Squad battle royale mode. The prize pool of Clash Squad mode was Rs 5,00,000.

The event came to a conclusion with Team 4 Unknown attaining the numero uno position. The team won the starting two matches of the six in total, and another one later on as the event preceded. This placed them solidly at the top right from the start of the tournament.

Event flow

Day 1: Clash Squad Mode

12 teams were invited including the fan favorites such as Team Elite (FFIC 1st Runner Up), XTZ ESports (FFIC 2nd Runner Up), Total Gaming (FFIC Winner) and 4 Unknown (Battle Arena Season 2 Winner) to battle it out in this short and quick action format of the game. Team Elite, Galaxy Racers, and XTZ ESports were all eliminated on the first day.

As the event progressed, the final two teams to reach the Grand Finals were Total Gaming eSports and Team Chaos. On their way to the finale, Team Chaos had a clean-sweep over TSG × SCOUT. This however, wasn’t enough to beat the seasoned Total Gaming ESports team led by FOZY-AJAY.

Day 2: Battle Royale Mode

The 12 teams invited on Day 1 competed against each other today on Day 2 in the battle royale mode. The dark horses stole most of the limelight with many teams finishing quite high in the points table.

Often referred to as one of the finest in the Indian Free Fire Esports scenario, 4 Unknown won Day 2 as they displayed commendable skills and team coordination throughout. They maintained their placement points and kill points right from the word go and amassed a total of 74 points.

A fun fest for fans

The two-day gaming event ran from 16th to 17th of January and a massive prize-pool of Rs 25 lakhs was up for grabs. The tournament also offered a glimpse of new collaborations among the famous gaming personalities, much to the audience’s delight.

SCOUT and Mortal, the two highly popular gamers graced the event and joined hands with the big names in the Free Fire community. Both of them had their own teams contending in this tournament: Team S8UL (Mortal) and TSG × SCOUT (Scout) respectively.
