Valorant patch 3.01 updates are now live and Riot Games has carried out several subtle changes to the game, as a follow-up to the massive 3.0 patch

Riot Games has introduced patch 3.01 notes in Valorant and it seems a follow-up to the major patch 3.0, which hit servers a few weeks back. The newly introduced Valorant patch 3.01 aims to fix several persistent bugs bothering gamers since the launch of Episode 3.

Patch 3.01 now available in Valorant

Riot seems to be still tackling a few issues in Valorant, and efforts are underway to address them ASAP. Essentially, the developers are letting the major Patch 3.0 changes play out while they spot some potential future changes.

Bug fixes in patch 3.01

• Sage’s can no longer place Barrier Orb on some projectiles while they’re in the air
• Fixed bug where Skye was able to activate the flash of Guiding Light while suppressed
• Addressed the ability to heal KAY/O while downed in NULL/CMD
• Fixed Sova’s Recon Bolt projectile from looking deployed for enemies when flying through the air.

Changes to Social in Valorant

• Fixed a bug where you were able to abuse text chat colours to impersonate system messages
• Addressed a bug where the invite button UI overlapped with Defender Coach UI in Custom Games
• Fixed bug where names were appearing as question marks if you had the “Use Generic Names for Players Outside my Party” setting turned on.

Progression

• Fixed alignment issues in Observer view
• Fixed Account Leveling issue where some of you got a lower level than intended
• If impacted, you will receive your correct Account Level and will keep the AP gained while playing at the incorrect level.
• Fixed visual issues affecting Account Leveling at the End of Game screen.
