Fortnite launches Gamora Cup, adds the Gamora skin to its Item Shop

Fortnite is adding the Gamora skin from the Marvel Universe to its Item shop and players can grab the outfit via the Gamora cup, which goes live today

It’s raining Marvel characters in Fortnite! The latest to join the MCU franchise in the game is the last remaining Zen-Whoberian Gamora. The fan-favourite daughter of Thanos from Guardians of the Galaxy arrives in the Fortnite Item Shop on August 14, at 8 pm ET or 5:30 am IST

Gamora comes to Fortnite

The arrival of Gamora in Fortnite is perfectly in sync with the alien invasion theme currently running in the game. She will join the elite company of her father Thanos, the Ant-Man, among other Marvel superheroes in Fortnite.

The entire Gamora bundle will include Godslayer Pickaxe, Godslayer Glideboard and Gamora’s Cloak Back Bling.

Epic Games has still not officially declared the cost of Gamora. However, going by previous skin prices, it is expected that Gamora skin will cost around 1500 – 2000 V-bucks. For the full Gamora bundle, players will have to shell out around 2100 – 2500 V-bucks.

Gamora Cup in Fortnite

Apart from spending V-Bucks, another exciting way to grab the Gamora skin is by participating in the Gamora Cup, which starts today. Players will have the opportunity to earn the Gamora Outfit and Gamora Cloak Back Bling.

It is a Duos tournament, where a team will have 3 hours to earn as many points as they can in 10 games. The top performing teams in each region will receive the Gamora Outfit and Gamora Cloak Back Bling. Anyone who earns at least 8 points will earn the Daughter of Thanos Spray.

Participants must have Two-Factor Authentication enabled on their Epic account and be at account level 30 or above. Gamers can check their account level information on the Career tab in-game.
