Rick Ashley classic to enthuse Call of Duty: Warzone players

Taking user experience to the next level, Call of Duty: Warzone has added Rick Astley’s classic “Never Gonna Give You Up”, to the game as a part of its vehicle tracks. Players can now customize what sound they make when they honk their car horns and these options now include the famous rickrolling song.

While Flight of the Valkyries enjoyed being one of the more popular songs to hear blast sounds from trucks and Humvees as players enjoyed Verdansk, this new addition of “Never Gonna Give You Up” is expected to take the throne once players have had time to use it in-game. Other songs that have been included in the 80’s Hits vehicle tracks include I Ran by Flock of Seagulls and Shout by Tears for Fears.

These new tracks were added as a part of Warzone’s newest update that integrates the battle royale with Black Ops Cold War. A host of fresh content was added, including a number of issues that Treyarch, Activision, and Raven Software need to iron out. A new, smaller map referred to as Rebirth Island was also included.

This new addition to the game’s feature list is sure to excite players in India, as a recent report mentions that the game has been downloaded over 20 million times and India is leading the charts. Out of the total downloads, 14 per cent have been from India while the US comes in second with nine per cent downloads.

Call of Duty is an extremely popular game in India and just like PUBG, COD Mobile also caters to a similar in-game environment for its players, with multiple players jumping off to a familiar battlefield in the aim to gun-down each other to achieve the ultimate chicken dinner. Little wonder then, that gamers across the country were thrilled to learn that COD had smartly avoided the recent Chinese app ban spree undertaken by the government, and its popularity has only received a positive boost.
