The new Prop-ifier Prop gun has arrived in Fortnite, patch v17.30 and it gives players the power to turn into a variety of props to evade alien invaders

A new Prop gun has arrived in Fortnite, as a part of the v17.30 Hotfix in the current Season 7. Christened as the Prop-ifier, it gives players the power to turn into a variety of props to evade alien invaders.

Fortnite gets the Prop-ifier in v17.30 Hotfix

The new Prop-ifier is of critical importance because it helps gamers select a familiar Island object and turn into a Prop imitation at the blink of an eye. Players can find the Prop-ifier in Chests, on top of Abductors, and in the Mothership

The Alien invasion theme in Fortnite has rendered the extra-terrestrial creatures quite powerful. They seem to have found a way to disguise themselves on the spot. Gamers must remember that the Prop-ifier is not present in competitive playlists

Prop-ifier in Fortnite: How does it work?

When using a Prop-ifier, players will be presented with a holographic display of their Prop options. They can choose the Prop they want to be and can then activate it. As a Prop, gamers will be able to move around. However, to increase their stealth, they can choose to settle in place.

While the Prop-ifier is a potent weapon, it does not guarantee complete evasion from a skillful eye. When settled, players will briefly glitch every now and then, similar to an old TV static. It is essentially a Prop and is not meant to be perfect.

Balance Changes in Fortnite v17.30

The Aliens continue to make the Island their home. This has resulted in increased availability of Alien Nanites from the ground.

Last week, Epic Games had disabled Prop Disguise services from vendors due to an issue. The Fortnite developer will inform gamers when they enable these services.
