The fast-paced tactical shooter Valorant has witnessed quite a success...
In a bid to offer more go to match the show, Value has launched a major update for its successful Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). Christened as Operation Broken Fang, the new update allows players to get new skins, agents, stickers, maps among many other added features to make the game more intuitive and exciting.
Gamers now have a total of 17 Broken Fang Skins to choose from, all of which form part of the new Operation Broken Fang case. Once a player completes the new missions, they can upgrade their Broken Fang coins and also earn stars, which promise many rewards, once redeemed at the store. The update also sees a rise in the number of female agents, with a total of 20 new agents being added into the system.
With the update, players can now analyze their game with an added feature called Map Performance, which allows gamers to see all of the maps they are good at and which are the areas they need to improve. A new Heat Maps option has also been added, which allows players to see a variety of stats and where the shots are landing. Also, players can now track all the kills they have made with each weapon.
During the course of their operations, players will be able to lay their hands on the Broken Fang Weapon Case, which will come equipped with 17 community-designed weapon finishes and a brand new set of gloves as rare special items. Adding to the aesthetics, players can also decorate their weapons with a number of new stickers and skin collections, including Havoc, Ancient and Control Collection.
To keep the goodies flowing for gamers, Value has rolled out another update within a day of the original update, which consists of a few balance modifications and tweaks to the Retake mode. Initially introduced through Operation Broken Fang, the modifications implemented in this new mode in the latest CS:GO update include disabling the ‘change map’ vote and also allows reducing the round start timer to five seconds.
The new update from CS:GO seems to have ticked most boxes for players and is expected to further propel the game to new heights, even as gamers demand more for their buck at regular intervals.
