Your wait for an international Valorant tournament is finally over. The launch halted abruptly after its initial release during the pandemic. Since then gaming community was eagerly waiting for the launch in a LAN environment. The game had its LAN events in South Korea and Brazil while most of the matches taken place in an online environment since the game’s launch.
Now Valorant’s 1st international LAN Event is all set to give gamers an opportunity to test their skills. As per the reports, the makers of the game, Riot has agreed upon a deal with the Icelandic government. Both its international League of Legends and Valorant events will now take place in Iceland.
Riot distributed a press release stating all the updates related to the launch. The press release reads that the event will be taking place in Laugardalsholl. Teams will be quarantined for a week once they land in the country. The live audience won’t be allowed at the venue in wake of the pandemic. This is probably the first time when the world is going to see Valorant teams competing in a LAN setting. The event will kick off on May 24 and wind up on May 30.
