The Sentinels of Light Ruination crossover event begins today in Wild Rift, with a host of rewards for participants, who will need to play as a team

The Sentinels of Light Ruination event goes live today in Wild Rift. Fans are aware that Lucian, Senna, and the other Sentinels of Light will engage in a fight against Ruination. The Sentinels of Light event begins today (July 9) and shall run till August 10.

Who are the Sentinels?

The Sentinels are an ancient order sworn to defend against the Mist. They have endured for a millennium, passing the flickering torch of their resolve down through countless generations of new recruits.

Players must remember that successfully completing this event requires teamwork. Becoming a Sentinel is just the first step. If gamers want to triumph over the Black Mist, they will have to work as a team.

Sentinel Bond & Rewards in Wild Rift

The Ruination has the power to corrupt even the strongest of Runeterra’s champions. If a participant earnestly intends to repel its unrelenting darkness, he/she will need to forge unbreakable bonds of light quickly.

Players will begin to build bonds with their fellow Sentinels the moment they enter the fray. They can gather enough XP and level up their relationship, unlocking bond dialogues and other rewards.

Win or lose, every game is an opportunity to build a relationship with every Sentinel. Gamers must keep fighting to the very end.

Sentinel Rewards

A gamer’s HQ Level is the sum of all his Sentinel Levels. “The brighter your light, the greater your rewards,” says Riot. Sentinel Bonus levels do not contribute to the HQ Level and only Sentinel Levels 1–5 can do that.

Riot has committed $1,000,000 to the Riot Games Social Impact Fund. Every HQ Level earned by a player while the event is live will increase the Charity Drive Pool by one point.
